Shri Badrinath Shrine were opened






The portals of Shri Badrinath Shrine were opened amid the chanting of thousands of devotees at 5:15 am early morning on Sunday. Present on the occasion were Chief Minister Harish Rawat, speaker of Legislative Assembly  Govind Singh Kunjwal, Cabinet Minister Dinesh Dhanai, Chairman of Badri-Kedar Temple committee Ganesh Godiyal, MLA Rajender Bhandari and Mayukh Mahar including other dignitaries. Chief Minister Shri Rawat offered Puja and enchanted Jai Badrivishal with full exaltation along with present devotees. Chief Minister Shri Rawat said that on this auspicious moment I extent my heartiest well wishes to all the people of Uttarakhand and Nation. Pleasing presentation through melodious tunes were given by Garhwal Scouts. Chief Minister Shri Rawat danced with local women group of Bamani Village.
Chief Minister Shri Rawat met devotees and had information regarding Yatra apart from this he asked for suggestions to make Yatra more comfortable.
While informally addressing the media representatives Chief Minister asserted that Chardham Yatra is a pledge asset of Humanity as people’s faith is attached with the Yatra. He informed that it is being considered to make Yatra more accessible, comfortable and recreational.
          Later CM added that as large number of devotees arriving here beyond our  expectations which has highly boosted up our moral. We have put our best efforts to make arrangement at par excellence. Road from Pandukeshwar to Badrinath is challenging to some extent but we constructed road there by cutting the snow. But I Assure you with full confidence  that Yatra will complete uninterrupted and it will  be entirely safe as I imparted responsibilities to higher officials in this regard as well as  Bhagwan Badri’s boundless  blessings are with us.
