Chief Minister Harish Rawat paid a visit to Shri Badrinath










On Monday, Chief Minister Harish Rawat paid a visit to Shri Badrinath shrine and inspected the preparation of Yatra and prayed to Lord Shri Badreivishal for the success of Chardham Yatra and happiness for the people of Uttarakhand. Chief Minster took the information regarding electricity, water, communication, housing and other arrangements in Badrinath Shrine. He found  preparations satisfied and asked officials to improve arrangements. He said that after clearing the snow, Yatra Pathway has been opened entirely. Permanent solution will  be ensured  for Lambagad landslide area within two year after constructing tunnel. Chief Minister directed to prepare plan for constructing safety wall in Bamnigaun and  the  road to be opened  which has been  obstructed on account of bolder in Marwari of Joshimath.
            Chief Minister Shri Rawat said Chardham Yatra is backbone of economy of the state. Government has put all its efforts to conduct the Yatra smoothly. SDRF Team has been deployed for the purpose. ASP Chamoli  Navneet Bhullar has been imparted the responsibility to train 100 local Youths in remote hill areas with the help of NIM. After the training Youths will be capable in relief and rescue works in high altitude conditions. Soldier Welfare department would also be activated for this purpose. A sports collage will be established in Munsyari. A plan is being considered for School children to take them on visit of Chardham Yatra
CM stated that our people are working day-night in unfavorable conditions. Chief Minister informed that government is well prepared and he has full confidence to get positive response. Devotees can come to the Chardham Yatra without fear and hesitation. During the occasion, Chief Minister directed the officials to organize Bhandara (Group Feast)  free of cost on behalf of state government for the visiting  devotees on inauguration of Gate opening of all four shrines (Dham) as well as  on previous evening of  Gate opening. Under earlier said plan, Free of Cost Bhandara would be arranged by State Government for the visiting devotees on 20th and 21st April in Gangotri and Yamunotri, on 23rd and 24th April  in Kedarnath Shrine and on 25th and 26th April in Shri Badrinath Shrine. Garwal Mandal Vikas Nigam has been nominated as an organizer institution for the arrangement of Free of Cost Bhandara (Group Feast).
Vice President of Twenty points plan and Area MLA  Rajender Bhandari , Secretary PWD Amit Negi, Commissioner Garhwal Mandal CS Napchyal including other officials were present on the occasion.
