Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi arrived at Jolligrant in Dehradun


Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi   arrived at Jolligrant in Dehradun on Thursday. Here, he was welcomed by Chief Minister Harish Rawat, State President Kishor Upadhay, State co-incharge Sanjay Kapoor, Cabinet Minister Dr. Indira Hridesh, Yashpal Arya, Dinesh Agarwal, Pritam Singh, MLA Hira Singh Bisht, MLA Sunder Lal Mandarwal by presenting bouquet. Shri Gandhi reached here along with State In charge Ambika Soni, Congress Leader Jitin Prasad from Delhi. On the arrival at Jolligrant Congress Vice president Rahul Gandhi offered floral wrath on the photo of Veer Chander Singh Garhwali, hero of Peshawar Mutiny.  He said contribution of Shri Garhwali never to be forgotten. He added that Peshawar Uprising was a significant milestone in the freedom fight of India as it laid a revolutionary foundation for future. Later Shri Gandhi  discussed about the Chardham Yatra with Chief Minister including others member of cabinet. During this period he had information regarding the huge disaster and reconstruction work  through the presentation. Shri Gandhi appreciated the reconstruction work of kedarnath. He said that state government worked with limited resources and in unfavorable conditions which is appreciable. After the discussion about the presentation, he left for the Gaurikund.
