Shri Kedarnath Shrine were opened

The portals of Shri Kedarnath Shrine were opened amid the large numbers of devotees and enchanting the Jai  Baba Kedar in morning on Friday. on the occasion Governor of the State Dr. Krishnakant Pal, Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Cabinet Minister Dr. Harak Singh Rawat, Dinesh Dhanne, President of Badri-Kedar Temple Committee Ganesh Godiyal, MLA Shaila Rani Rawat, Mayukh Mahar, and Lalit Farswan including National Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi were  present. Overwhelmed  by the presence of devotees Shri Rawat applauded for Baba Kedar with full enthusiasms ,  noted Sufi Singer of film industry Kailash Kher and Local Folk Artists presented the devotional songs which CM enjoyed. 

            Prior to this, Chief Minister Harish Rawat and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi travelled by foot from Lincholi to Kedarpuri in early morning on Friday. During this period Chief Minister met devotees from the various parts of  country and abroad and warmly welcomed them and asked for their suggestions about the arrangement of Yatra route. Devotees expressed satisfaction over the arrangements on the Yatra route by the State Government. Chief Minister inspected the basic arrangements like Drinking water, housing, toilets, etc on the yatra route and talked to the owners of horses, mules and porters and took suggestions regarding Yatra facilities.

            While informally addressing the media representatives Chief Minister Shri Rawat said that last year yatra route was not apt which has been reconstructed this year. Many new facilities have been developed for the devotees this year. He added that in the coming year State Government will provide more facilities for the devotees on Yatra route. Chief Minister said the  crowd of devotees and enthusiasm  has encouraged our zeal. He informed that on the occasion of portals opening more than 2200 devotees to arrive. Chief Minister said motive of the government  is  to conduct the Yatra throughout year. He said in coming one-two years a road for the transportation  of small vehicle on foot way up to Kedarpuri base camp would be  constructed . Chief Minister said massage of safe Uttarakhand has been sent as it  resulted in large number of  devotees. He informed that instructions have been issued to officials concerned with Chardham Yatra to increase more facilities.  

            On answering a question of  Media he said that Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi is also welcomed for Chardham Yatra as well as he would request to the Prime Minister to restart the mythological Yatra route for holy Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Chief Minister said that it is faith, devotion and enthusiasm of Rahul Gandhi for Lord Shiva that he travelled from Gaurikund to Kedarpuri by foot. Chief Minister said this year splendorous view of Kedarpuri suggests that Lord Shiva is visibly present here.
